I am an experienced IT professional who specializes in the education sector. I have over twenty years experience supporting networks for successful schools, colleges and multi academy trusts. Technology in schools and colleges needs to be responsive, save time, show excellent value for money and most importantly be safe.
Building solutions for an ambitious multi academy trust to allow teachers to teach outstanding lessons and increase outcomes for children.
To develop, manage and maintain a network of over 450 PCs, laptops and iMacs in a large successful secondary school in the east of Leeds. This role also includes managing a team of technicians who maintain a further nine local primary schools.
To assist the Network Manager to develop, manage and maintain a network of 600 PCs in a very successful sixth form college.
Apart from being a IT Systems and Network Manager I enjoy time with my family. We enjoy camping and spending time outdoors.
When I do find time to myself I enjoy building electronic projects and tinkering in my solar powered shed.
