Google have added a great new feature to their maps service. You can take a virtual walk around Denver, Las Vegas, Miami, New York and San Francisco. With further cities to follow.The picture shown here is the junction between 23rd and Broadway with the Empire State building in the background (In New York obviously).
Sadly this will not be extended to Europe due to privacy laws or something. Which is probably best as the readers of 'The Register' are already finding unsuitable images captured by the googlecam.
It's worth a look, although I'm not sure it is going to prevent to many air miles.
Go to http://maps.google.com/help/maps/streetview/ and click the Go To Street View button...
